PUSH Basket Initiative
Providing Uplifting Support & Hope
Dealing with a cancer diagnosis is not only a personal and physical challenge, it's also often very isolating for the individual. Even when surrounded by family and friends, there are days when a little encouragement goes a long way. Treatment varies by diagnosis and undergoing chemotherapy comes with its own set of challenges.
Our PUSH Baskets will be delivered to patients undergoing chemotherapy in Maryland. Each basket will contain gifts that can be opened on the day of chemo or on a day where you need a little encouragement. The gifts include but are not limited to a book, lip balm, bath salts, tea, comfy socks, blanket etc. and will each include a note of encouragement or inspiration.
Who Can Participate & How Can They Sign Up?
This initiative is for adult individuals who will be starting chemo in the very near future and live in Maryland. If you recently started chemo but still have several treatments left you can still sign up to receive a basket.
While we look forward to the day when there isn't a need for chemo or PUSH baskets, we are thrilled to have the opportunity to touch so many individuals this year and continue this initiative. Thank you to those who support us financially and make this possible for those in treatment.
