We have found some great programs in the Baltimore area for women looking for help with breast concerns. You DO NOT have to have cancer to get educated. Pushing Pink Elephants urges you to take control of your health now.
The Womens Services at GBMC offers a host of programs dedicated to women. The Breast Care Center has a comprehensive team of doctors to help guide you through all things breasts- not just cancer! They even offer an Advanced Risk Assessement Program to help women who are concerned with their risk factors and just want more information. The Avon Foundation Breast Center at John Hopkins also offers risk assessment, same day follow ups and great counseling programs. They also have the LiveWell program focusing on women 40 & under diagnosed with cancer, understanding that the uniqueness of their situations and providing them with the resources needed to Push Beyond the diagnosis.
