What Are Cosmetics Really??

Every day we expose ourselves to chemicals that have the potential to cause serious health problems. We slather lotion on our skin, shower with sweet smelling soaps, and apply makeup.

As consumers, we must educate ourselves on the potential dangers of cosmetics and learn to identify what products are safe.

Check out The Campaign for Safe Cosmetics for great information about what's in the products we use every day and what we should avoid. Knowledge is power so we encourage you to learn all you can about your favorite products.

You may feel that it’s too late to make a change, since you have been exposed to these harmful chemicals your entire life. We urge you to think about the children of our future, they learn their habits by watching the adults in their lives.

We want a life that is full of health and happiness for all children. Help prevent their exposure to cancer causing chemicals by learning more and teaching them the importance of knowing what’s in the products they use.
